Default Someone go and check if your front (non Brembo) rotors are concave or flushed

Touch the outside and inside perimeter of the rotor and see if their is a lip extruding out as though the brake pad has rubbed it off from friction. I don't know what I'm talking about with this silly test, but I think I need to change them soon.

I'm trying to see if the squeaking could be from the rotors. Mine feel concaved. I think I might need them resurfaced.

I have 36k miles now and ready to do the full maintenance.
  1. lsd
  2. tranny
  3. oil
  4. brake fluids
  5. brake rotors
  6. coolant
  7. power steering
  8. battery cleaning
  9. retorque the exhaust

Anything I missed LMK.

Yes. 45,000 miles and my front rotors are worn. The brake pad has worn the rotor. Its supposed to.

As ur brakes wear, they will leave a ridge on the outer perimeter also on the inner perimeter. Ur rotor is becomeing thinner as are ur pads. When u go to have the rotors turned they will measure the thickness. If that thickness is beyond specs, Its time for new rotors.
