I was wondering if it was okay to switch from 5W30 to 10W30? I used to live up north, so I always used 5W30 but now i am down south and thinking about putting in 10W30 instead. (Using Mobil1)

Just curious, what bad things did you think would happen? The owner's manual clearly states 5W-30, 10W-30, or 10W-40 (extreme temperatures) are acceptable.
