Question rebuild for a vg30dett

A few months back my 1990 300zx twin turbo's engine started making some nasty sounds . I ended up buying a 2004 350z and parking the old twin turbo. I recently moved back to Orlando and I was wondering if anyone here knows some reliable mechanics that know these engines. Since It won't be a daily driver I could do what ever I want with it. I was thinking about some better turbos and an engine rebuild. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the Info. I was wondering about that place. I'm glad to here some good news about them. I was concidering taking my car there a while back before it broke. I still have to tow it down here from Jacksonville with the rest of my stuff. Then that car will be a project car. I love the 350z, but I had so much fun with that ttz that I cant stand to let it sit there broken. I want to drive it again!

Smile 300zx Repair

I just moved to Orlando area a couple of years ago and found a really good 300zx mechanic out in Clermont FL. He worked on my 300zx TT and did a JDM engine swap and other maintenance repairs. He only charged $900 for the swap. $400 for oil and tranny fluid changes, coolant change, water pump, timing belt, thermostat and intercooler hoses. He has worked on several TT. He is kinda red neck, but very honest nice and ASE certified. He will tow your car for big jobs. You got to pay him cash.

BTW I tried the guy in Longwood Z tech, but he was reluctant to take on the big job, although very knowledgeable.
