Default Rear Brake Pad Change Procedure?

I need to replace my rear pads, and have recieved the stock ones from a local dealer (about $60 for the pair, including tax).

However, I have not yet recieved my service manual, and have never changed a brake pad before. I've seen people change pads and it looks pretty simple, but I want to make sure I do it right.

Does anyone have the pad changing procedure that they'd be willing to post here? Any hints or tricks that make things easier would be nice as well.

Thanks,
D'oh!
