Default Can rev limiter be set at 4000 rpm during break-in?

I have read somewhere that the rev limiter can be set manually. (Enthusiast model)

If so, can it be set at 4000rpm so that during the break-in period I would be prevented from being carried away by enthusiasm and carelessly rev the engine beyond that point, causing damage?

Thanks.

No, you can only set your Rev light to any setting you want that way it lights up when you hit the setting. It actually starts to blink as you approach the setting and stays light when you reach or exceed the setting.
