Post Fuel Hose Recall Problems
Here's my problem:
I had my fuel hose recall done at Nissan several months ago. I just recently tried to fill up my gas tank and the handle capped off just like it would if the tank was full.
To my surprise as I was driving off I noticed the fuel gauge was only to the half-way mark. I blew it off thinking it was just nothing.
With that in mind, I tried to fill up today and the same thing happened!
Has anyone here experienced the same problem as I described? If so, what was the means you took to get it fixed? Did you have to pay for it?
If it's the fuel hose that causes my problem I will refuse to pay for any work done.
Oh, if anyone is wondering why it took me so long to find out about this. Well, the car isn't my daily driver, and the price of gas at that time wasn't worth filling the tank up.

I don't think it's the fuel hose. It's probably the shutter valve as indicated in this Technical Service Bulletin.

Did you have this problem as well? And if you did, mind if I ask what was the repair bill like?
Thanks.
