Default All 2003 owners

So, I just finished reading the thread about everybody with 2003's and some 2004's having to replace their transmissions. It seems like almost everybody did it. I just picked up my 03Z from NY yesterday and just got back home in Michigan today. I have 12k+ miles on the car and the tranny seems fine. My question for 2003 owners is: Who hasn't replaced their transmission yet? And how many miles do you have?

Same transmission, same clutch, same back tires........2003 350Z purchased August 2003.....20,000 miles.

29K miles on my 2003 and I powershift. I don't think there's a problem, but everyone else who drives my car thinks the clutch is a little "stiff."

60k miles, original clutch and trans, drive very hard and powershift sometimes.

30k original tranny I drive fairly conservative lots of highway miles

4/03 original tranny/clutch/25k, no need to add oil in between oil changes every 4-5k miles. Best car ever owned so far. Excellent gas mileage also btw.

Same here. Original transmission and clutch currently @ 20k miles, and mine's Aug 02 build.

36K and original tranny. Never a problem. New front brake pads a 25K

I don't think I needed to replace my tranny/clutch and Flywheel set up, but when I first got the car I knew I had a Warrantee on that stuff, so I began drifting in the car when I first got it, and took it to Nissan and they did what I expected (changed it). But had I not practiced drifting....I don't think it would have needed to be changed...

59k same tranny/clutch . Just recalled parts replaced... strong as an ox and I drive it like I stole it everyday....but I recently am starting to have a grinding in 5th if I granny shift so have been powershifting into 5th to stop the grind but that is it.

11k, 2003, no problemos....I think you get the point now, it wasnt EVERY 2003-4 that had problems, if we knew exactly why they have the bad trans it would have been posted here. Good luck.
