For me, CD. Print pages as I need them. If they get messy...print new ones.

Down side is hard to add notes for mods or corrections.

I purchased the hard cover, but had the same agonizing dillemma. The hard cover comes in 4 large volumes, and I had planned on having it around so I could easily read up on it in my spare time.

Now that I've shelled out the $300 for the hardcover, I feel like Nissan should have given us the choice to get both versions without having to pay double. If I let that attitude fester for a while I may get rightiously angered enough to actually go *borrow* the CD from some other source. I'm not quite ready to do that yet though.

I don't think either choice is a bad one, but if you plan using it mainly to work on your car, then a digital copy may be best. If you plan on being able to browse through the manual in addition to working on the car, then the hardcover gives you some additional freedom. Unless you have a laptop, in which case it would be more managable and portable than the hardcopy.

Good luck!
