Default Window always getting wet....

i tried searching though so many pages but still haven't read up on anything. Not sure if its teh window grease problem.

Everytime i wash teh car or it rains, when i put up and down the window on teh driver's side, there is always water that comes on teh window. It's really getting to me. The water does nto go away for days or unless is really hot outside. Not sure what the problem is. I'm guessing the brushes. Anyone have this problem? Is there a way to fix this? thanks guys.

I see the same thing on the afternoon after washing the Z but by the next morning, the problem doesn't occur. You are correct in your guess that it's the "brush" or felt strip that seals the window on the outside.

There's not really much you can do to dry it other than trying some compressed air or a leaf blower on it after you wash and before you dry the car. The leaf blower is great for getting water out of all those cracks and crevices where you can't dry with a towel.

lol, all this trouble jsut to dry the window. I wonder if anyone else have other ways of fixing it since the passenger side doesn't do it as bad. thanks for the response.

the fact that ur passenger side doesnt do it as much is purely coincidental. welcome to owning a Z. its part of the car.

the only way to fix it would be if someone made a replacement brush strip that was rubber and acted as a squeegee instead. but i have yet to see a car that you can succesfully roll down the window after washing and roll back up without getting water spots. Simple solution, deal with it. its not like it takes that much time to wipe the windows with windex after you get home and roll them up.
