HI,

I had something weird happen today.

I have the rear view mirror programmed to 2 of our automatic slide gates. I drive up and im pressing the button the rear view mirror...and nothing..i try again and again and nothing?

So i park the car out on the street and then the car factory key fob wont work - Wont lock the car, horn wont honk, NOTHING???

well, somehow now. the automatic gates wont work either...well not unless you get really close to them with the gate opener remote control????

So then i lock the car with the key and leave....

come back and still NOthing WORKS, CAR, GATES, ETC...

so i use the key to get back in the Z....start it up and drive away...

A family member trys the gates and everything is back to normal when i leave...i drive up again. and then nothing works?!?

ITS LIKE IF MY CAR IS SENDING OUT A SIGNAL OR SOMETHING??? WIERID???

So then i park the car and turn it off...i hold the key fob UNLOCK button DOWN and i hear clicking! im guessing the ECU reseting or something???

then guess what! the key fob starts to work and then all the automated gates start to work??? really weird??????

anyone know whats going on???

I know my factory car battery is starting to sound weak? its about 3.5 years old from when i bought the car???
