03 ~ 22k miles. Get a rattle now and then. Once I fix it/or it goes away something new starts. Turn the radio up and all your rattle problems are solved.

i had rattle in the same exact spot. I wasnt about to have my whole dash ripped off because of it. I took a black piece of a paper, made a small square paper wad and shoved it in between the defroster vent and the windsheild. Pushed it down level with the dash so you cant see it, and BAM! no more rattle. Beats the hell out of taking the dash apart. Good luck with the dealership.

Bought mine used w/ 16k last year, 21k now, still no rattles, even with potholes or bumpy roads. The only interior noise I have is caused by the stuff in the compartments flying around, probably by all the Z's torque.

I have dashboard rattles in my 06 all the time. Usually it happens when the weather gets warmer. I'm definitely ripping out the dashboard and putting as much Sound Deadening material as possible.

I have an 05 and the small vent to the left of the steering wheel on the dash is rattling. I contemplated takin it apart, but after seeing a post like this, I might learn to live with it.

If I don't know how to fix something, I usually research until I find out how. But under no cirrcumstance do I ever take the Z to the dealership.

The only rattle I have had is when I put sunglasses in the sunglass holder. Drove me crazy for a few weeks then I realize it was the sunglasses.

For what its worth, when my dash rattles, I simply stuff my leather wallet up between the windshield glass and and the top of the dash. Applies just enough pressure to stop it from making noise. Now if I could only figure out a way to keep my seat from squeaking...

+1 I had a rattle for a while, then I figured out it was my sunglasses in the upper storage compartment LOL

Rattles suck! I get mine on and off, rattles maybe once a week for 30 or 45 minutes. Just turn the radio up, and you forget it ever rattled! Until next time anyways....

Double-check your seat mounting bolts. Mine had loosened up (of course, some of that may have been all of the autocross runs).

Same here---But, might add that Im not obsessed with the trivial matters in life. Some of the rattle threads remind me of the Movies where a ticking clock or dripping water cause the already unhinged Dude to jump out of a building after cutting his ears off.

The only Rattles that rile me is when a pesky Diamond Back Rattle Snake takes up residence under my seat...Its very annoying
