Default Headlight housing/ front bumper alignment help

Im trying to fix my front bumper and headlight alignment. I have a bunch of gaps where the headlight meets the front bumper. Also the front bumper just doesnt seem to line up in places. Does anyone know how to fix this?

bump, got similar problem

Passenger headlight doesn't sit flush with the hood/fender. It seems a little more sunken in. But the bumper fits fine though...

Without seeing it, Its a little tough, but, if you have an alignment/elevation problem the first question is, Did you wreak ??? If so, you have to back track and find the source.

If not, then something has loosened up. It just takes thought and common sense. Where the Bumper meets the fender, there is a Male/Female where the screws attach, Are they lined up ????

Open things up ---- ( wheels off and front wheel wells out ) Familiarize yourself with the connection points. Are brackets bent ???

All connecting bolts on the Fenders,Bumper,Headlites can be loosened and those items can be pushed into different positions. If need be, use washers as shims to raise elevations. Its far from rocket science. For example, if your hood is cocked, just raise it and give it a yank beyond what it needs if you run out of adjustment on the bolts-- bend the hinges. Many doors now days have no adjustment and are aligned by bending the hinges with a jack. Sounds primitive, but that is considered the correct fix. Make sure all the brackets are square and plumb, if not, just bend them.

Fact is, all that stuff is pretty flimsy and easily manipulated in place.

Also keep in mind that where ever there is an action there is a reaction, so look ahead before u start. Picture in ur mind the Hood,Bumper,Fender,Lite assy as one piece before addressing the compoments. As you make changes, stand back 5 - 10 - 15 feet at different angles and heights to fine tune things. Run your hands over the different transition points. Check your Margins ( consistent spacing )

Body Shops make big Bucks convincing people their "Certified Techs" are really guys with a little imagination and patience.
