Was my '03 alignment fixed?
Hey all,
I bought an '03 350z Touring 6MT a few months ago with 25k miles on it and near new Potenza RE040's. It also has Eibach pro-kit springs (.75 inch drop). It did not have noticeable tire feathering, but by the time I hit 31k the tire feathering was VERY loud around 20mph and I needed to replace the tires. I took my car in to a Nissan dealer, got an alignment, and replaced the stocks with a set of track wheels with the updated RE040 tread pattern and did not hear any feathering. I'm around 33k miles now and I think I can faintly hear the tire feathering problem coming back when I'm driving ~20 mph. I'll type up the results of my alignment below.
Did the Nissan dealer do a good enough job to negate the tire feathering issue? Any suggestions on what to do? Also, any suggestions on a harder compound tire that won't be as susceptible to tire feathering? AT this point, I don't care if it gets bada$$ grip in the summer, I just want a tire that isn't going to feather and wear out in a few miles
The camber is still way off factory specs due to the .75 inch drop... I was under the impression that it's excessive TOE that causes feathering. If .5 deg was enough to cause feathering before, will 0.3 fix the problem?
Thanks for all the help!!!

Nissan never fixed it, they are being sued to compensate us 03 and 04 owners with problems.
Nissan changed rear springs and front sway in later years ...magically problem went away....

we might have to return everything back to 03/04 oem spec in order to get compensated. i'm saving my oem 17" tires and wheels for this.
