Default Aluminum Radiator

I just finnished the install of an aluminum radiator that I purchased in a group buy here. First, when they say "You get what you pay for" that's the truth with this radiator, fitment problems everywhere. I had to remove the lower brackets for the A/C evap, even with that I only have one of the upper stays holding the thing in place. Also what's the big cast iron weight hanging off the lower front? That had to go too. After I thought I was done and while putting the under pan on I found the drain boss was leaking, Sh17, the oring was squeezing out of the fitting. After numerous tries to stop the leak I had to take the radiator back out and chamfer the boss so the oring will be trapped and seal.
Can anybody recomend a good radiator that is known for good fittment?

Took all freeking day.

AMS, I left that out until I had a response from them. They told me that I need to trim the plastic up under the shroud to get good fitment.

i just installed a koyo 3 row this weekend. after much thought, i was going to get the AMS until the group buy ended. I ended up paying a little more for the Koyo. We had some problems pushing the radiator back onto the bottom mounts. Only part that needed to be trimmed was one of the hoses. Fitment elsewhere was perfect. Btw, I'm still NA so no FI piping to work around. I will be tracking it this weekend to and keeping an eye on my temps.

From an install POV, get the koyo. I didn't have any problems with it.
