Default weird fuel injection behavior

hello,

something eird happened yesterday:
I was racing around when i had to stop hard at a red light, i shift down 2 gears heal toeing but the car wasn't slowing as fast as usual. when i finally stop a step on the clutch to put in nutral but the engine rev up to 4000 for few 1 sec befor drop to idle.

any idea what could have happened

no, i had my foot on the clutch.
It felt like the electronic was overloading the engine with fuel, and it took some seconds before it realised that the car was not moving.
reminded me of those old fashion turbo that was kicking down shifting.

You were applying throttle to a slipping clutch. The result is exactly what you have described.
