i was kicking the back out in my new 07 mb350z when in 3rd gear i completly loss control and spun the car out after it stopped i noticed my back left side was driving funny i think a blew a shock any other ideas? i just fell like I have done worse in other cars and havent broke anything im quite dissapointed so any ideas?

 

Mayby take a look under it and see if anythings loose?

thanks I had a 1989NA 300zx FInally got my new baby and i broke it. Well i looked under everything seems fine thats why i think the shock thought maybe the spring sat wrong but it looks ok . Makes me want to upgrade my suspension i used to do wild stuff in my 89 z31 but i also had koni adjustables all around swaybars and strutbraces and springs it annoys me my 89 never broke but my 07 brakes first time i try to have a lil fun

 

no curb 4 lane road in the middle of the road pulled a u turn spun them 1st 2nd and thrird it just went out

 

it did put a lot of pressure front and back side to side cant that blow stock shocks if there not that great ?? i dont know im asking? I never kept stock shocks in any of my vechles so i dont know

 

Can you describe the "driving funny" part?

Get some tein s techs, koni yellows, and hotchkis sways, thats my plan.

 

Its possible you just messedd up your alignment. Check to see if your lug nuts are tight, make sure your wheels in one piece. Make sure your shocks shaft isnt bent.

 

if i turn left my car almost feels normal if i turn right the left back side seems to sag where as if i turn left it has a nice lil sport bounce to it and just driving it feels like i feel more of the road that i dont feel on the right. see id love to go with tein but that voids my warrenty to soon for that for me i wanna solve this before i go get suspension

 

Maybe take it back to the dealer? I'd try it since your car is brand new, stock, and still under warranty.

get it checked out by someone competent. probably alignment if it's "driving funny"

well i lifted the car checked everything out and when i put it done it drove fine for about 15 min after i tokk a exit ramp it started saging again i still think its a bad seal in the shock i dont know why u think its impossable i think thats the weakest part of the suspension is it not?
and when i lifted and re sat it down the shock sat normally until i hit a turn hard where it lost pressure anyway its going to nissan monday night ill let u know what happen. i am tornbetween voiding warrenty and getting a realley good suspension or going nismo i wish i could drive a car with nismo so i can feel it but i cant

 

nisos not any good really. Its a suspenshion warrabty who xares.

 

i guess this wouldent happen if i had a good suspension I think im just going to get it fixed and wait a lil bit doesnt even have 2500 miles on it yet does anyone agree with me on it possably being a shock problem. I do appreciate everyones help though

from the way you describe the problem, sounds like a blown shock or something came loose... try driving over a speedbump and see if you can feel the left and right rear acting different

 

i knwo what hes talking about, my 06 did it for awhile. took it to the dealership and they told me everything was fine and my alignment was good. then after about a week it stopped. takin it to the dealship will get you nowhere
