Default 2 questions

does anyone else have a problem with certain gas pumps??

i get it almost 1/2 way full and the pump wants to click off and keeps doing it, have to hold the nozzel part way out and pump it super slow.

i also want to know what kind of oil people use, how many use syntethic.

Thanks

Never had that problem with the Z myself.

I use regular 10w-30. Have not switched to synthetic and probably wont, unless I ever get to go F/I.

I don't know what year your 350Z is, but check the appropriate service bulletins for gas filling problems.

Had tons of problems with pumps shutting off early. Had the TSB addressed and it fixed the (very common) problem.

I also use the recommended dino oil as suggested in the owners manual.

i went to this new Chevron station and one of their pumps was acting up like that.... never had any problem filling up at costcos or Arco stations. i just leave the pump hooked up and it tops out by itself.

You fill your own gas?
Just get full service

your re-fueler hose has cracks in it and causing pressure to build up. Once the pressure is built up the gas doesnt flow into the tank quick enough so it seems like it is full. Extensive labor for just a damn hose, but it will do the trick and shouldnt cost you a thing. (recall)

I use 5-30 Royal Purple Synthetic
