i use the veruspeed on mine, but if you go to the dealer ask for either a 15208-9e000, or a 65f00. the 9e is the same just a little longer.

top 100 questions thread will have some answers for you.

link is in my signature.

Also, you can go to any auto parts store and tell them you have a 350z, they will tell you which filters fit...

Just got mine from the dealer, getting ready for the 1200 mile oil change. He sold me the short one for 12 bucks and through in a couple copper crush washers for free. Nice...

Don't forget your washers!

FRAM got bad ratings just about everywhere I looked. My next filter will be an amsoil wix filter, it got very good reviews after they cracked it open.

Yep, I use the Mobil m1-110 as it is larger but has the same sized fitting as the nissan filter.

Dude you got ripped if you bought a Nissan oil filter and paid $12 for it. I paid $5 something for the long filter for my last oil change and that might even be a little high.

ya $12 for Nissan OEM filter seems kinda too much. Courtesy Nissan has it for about $5

Maybe you haven't seen the website (I don't have the link right now) where some guy cuts open like 2 dozen brands of filters and checks the quality from the inside. FRAM filters use the cheapest filter media and the worst glue to hold the paper together. A very high percentage of the FRAM filters will leak internally at that glue-seam and allow a lot of unfiltered oil to go through.

Fram sucks the big one.

Wix, Napa brand, Mobil 1, purolator pureone, K&N, are all great alternatives.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll pick up a purolator next time.

valentino why dont you just get the mobil 1 or the amsoil/wix filter? from what ive read the mobil 1 and k$n are exactly the same minus the k&n being white and having a safety wire nut on the bottom.

I believe the Purolator is a tad bit cheaper than the Mobil 1 filter. Unfortunately, I have 3 cars I have to change oil out on. Economically, the Purolator will help out in the wallet.

ahhh what's a few more dollars for the z, use the cheaper ones on your other cars. Being the z filter is the size of some lawnmower filters, i personally want the best quality on there.
