Default Rear Axle clicking

Hi, did anyone repair yourself for the Rear Axle clicking noise? How much will it be for the repair if I have to bring it to a garage? I did the research on this within the forum, but I could not get the dealer to fix it. So I just want to get it done myself or some garage to do it. If anyone had did it before, please advise.

all they do is regrease it and torque the bolts like a half a turn more, as far as parts i think all you need is some cotter keys, and some new bolts? why would the dealer not fix it??? it's a TSB

Rear axle clicking is a very distinctive sound. Nissan mechanics know it well. Your problem is not poor service, but simply cannot duplicate. Intermittent problems are difficult to diagnose and repair.

Yeah, I ran out of warranty as well, it was $220 parts and labor at the Nissan dealer to fix the rear axle clicking. Not too bad considering they got me a brand new long block overnight from Japan due to heavy white smoke out the back...
