Default What service intervals do people have?

I have recently bought a 350z from a Nissan dealer. It is 3 1/2 years old and it has only 2 service stamps at 11350 miles (18/02/05) and 19,972 miles (26/07/06). Both of which are minor services.

I didn't check the service history until I got home. The sales droid at the dealership had said clearly "it had a full service history and that it had recently been serviced".

The dealer has said the last service is missing and I need to return the book to them for them to update it.

I have a number of questions:

a) How often have other 350z's been serviced and how often is a major service performed?
b) Is there any way of telling whether a dealer has performed a service and has not just filled in the maintenance record?
c) How often should the oil be changed? I have read somewhere it should be around 5K miles.

Oil change every 3-6,000 miles ( i do 3000) and major service every 30,000.

Though I understand dealers are not all that trustworthy, if they are wlling to sign a maintenance book as a service being performed, I'd believe they actually did the work.

I follow the maintenance intervals in the maintenance book. Get one from your dealer or Courtesy Nissan.
