passenger window acting funny
when i roll my passenger side window down at times, it gets stuck. in order for me to fix it, i have to open the door, and slam it hard. then it gets unstuck. sometimes it gets stuck, and sometimes it works fine. another time when i tried rolling down the window, it got stuck, but then i didnt do anything about it, and the next day, it got unstuck by itself. whats going on?? anything to do with setting your car on base (stock base)?? how much is it to fix this??

check this thread

i had the same issue.. it's the motor.. when you slam the door the carbon build up inside comes loose due to impact which will make the motor work temporarily.. i used to hit the switches really hard thinking it was the problem..

I had the same thing. I kept hitting the door (where the window switch is at) or slamming the door.
but i got tired of it. took the whole door panel apart and tested the window motor, and yep. it was out....
so you need a new window motor.

is it hard fixing it yourself? or is it recommended to do it at a dealer? does it really die down every year or so??? the window problem is only on my passenger, and my drivers side works perfectly fine. so i'm guessing theres a window motor on each side..... ehhhh i guess ill have to hold off on putting an alarm system and tints on the car

Just had my pass side window motor replaced a week ago after it died on me overnight... Driver side was replaced about 4 months ago after working occasionally then completley dying... under factory warranty I only had to pay my 50 deductable twice, they said it usually runs 3-400 to replace.

is your car still under warranty? if so, just bring it back and have them do the work.. if not, cleaning the motor is easy.. i'll do it for 6 pack
