my tank is full but my gauge reads 1/4 tank or 1/2 tank. the gauge with the dte reads 200 something miles left and its blinkin when my gauge reads empty. any ideas?? the only thing i could think of is that the filter inside the tank is clogged

 

or maybe it has something to do with that pesky recall

 

when i took it to the dealership i told them about it and they said its probably the recall. so they "fixed it". then it started doin the same thing. i just hate leavin it at the dealership

 

the sending unit inside your gas tank is short...warranty should take care of it. i had the same exact problem with my 05 armada last year.

 

I had the same problem. They did the fix, now its happening again (3 months later)
