Default Air Leaking sound under car..

I have an intermittent air leaking sound under the car when it is idling. The sound seems to be coming from above the drive shaft somewhere in the rear that I can't locate. (hard to pin point where) Does anyone else have this, is it normal..

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust on? If so, it could be an exhaust leak (it could be one anyways). Jack your car up, turn it on and listen.

I wonder if it could be the evap canister. I think I've heard the same sound, but no CEL's so I'm not worried.

I ruled out an exhaust leak, I'm familar with what an exhuast leak sounds like.. Its something that seems to be turning on and off.

the sound is a pissing air sound similar to a tire leaking air at a decent rate. (however it is clearly not a tire)

Do you have any CEL lights? Does your car run funny at all? I would have to think its the EVAP canister as well.

Man, its already hard to diagnose peoples car problems, but now your throwing in a bunch of funny noises. Your car sounds like its fuc*ed with the way described it. I would just take it to the dealer if it sounds like that.

That's definitely the sound I get, it happens sometime under decel.

I really don't think it's a problem.
