Default fluids/plugs

I am trying to find the miles when everyone is changing their manual transmission/ differential fluid,plugs. I have look through the service guide and found nothing. Right now I have about 40,000 miles on a 6 speed touring

i changed the rearend oil at 27k. oem plugs should be good for 100K miles. i'd leave my tranny oil alone.

Actually I just read the rear diff and tranny oil should both be changed at 30k miles...

If you look more closely on service guide, it says change the differential and tranny fluid at 30k miles, spark plugs at 105k miles.

There's not an easy way to check ur tranny, differential fluid since they dont have dip sticks. Just replace them at recommanded 30k miles from serivce guide, it should be fine. As far as checking the plugs, use the search function, i've seen several posts about them.

You are correct about the diff fluid and plugs, but I read the service manual a couple nights ago. I could have sworn the 30k check-up said to "check the tranny fluid only". I could be wrong though, I did have about 4 or 5 beers in me at the time.

You can check Nissan's website, the premium shedule states to replace the fluid.
