Default Anyone having clutch problems with an 06??

I was stopped today on a hill and I pulled out let the clutch out like I always do started moving and decided to give it a little more gas maybe 50-60% throttle. The car did not move but let out a poof of smoke from underneath and stank like a burnt clutch, I don't understand I don't baby the car but I dont abuse it. The car is an 06 with 6k miles will this be covered under warranty?

Yes it will be covered under warranty, but sounds like to me you feathered it a little to much.
