Default passager window???

so yesturday im sitting in my house on the copmuter finishing up some stuff and outside all of a sudden it starts pouring rain...a few seconds later i remembrd that i didnt close my windows...i run outside to close them, i pull both the buttons at the same time so they roll up. the drivers window rolld up with no problem and so did the passager one.. a few seconds later the passager window rolls down maybe 1/4 way down...i close it , a few seconds later it does the same thing... after a few tries when i rolled the window up i shut the car off so that it had no power to roll back down... i turn on the car later when i go to work and the window was working properly... anyone know what the problem might be? or has it happend to anyone else?

it probably doent need to be replaced...just adjusted. my passenger window did the same thing. the window is trying to go up too far, hitting the top, and then doing its 'auto-reverse' function. just take it to the dealer. ad if its not under warranty...take your door panel off for them...itll save you $90. then theyll only charge you like 30 min. for resetting it

Or don't use the auto-roll up. Just pull up on the button just a bit until it closes.

one of my bimmers did that that had no frames on the windows. Usually means there is an obstruction of some sort so it rolls part way back down.

I am having the same problem, someone posted a way to reset the window without having to take it in, but I can't find it now that I need it.
Does anyone know the trick to reseting the window? I have a 03 350Z.
