Window supposed to be like this?
When I pull the window switch up for the driver's side it goes up all the way then comes back down about 4 inches. It always happens when i click it up into auto mode. Even does it sometimes when I hold it in the whole time. I don't know if it's a problem or if there is something I need to switch. It's not really a problem but more of an annoyance. Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks everyone.

nope, take back to dealer for them to adjust it. its going up to far and the window motors thinks something is stuck between the window and the door hence it coming back down.

^^^ mine does that as well. I almost got screwed the other day because I put the window up and it stayed up. then I shut the door and it must have come down. well an hour later it started pouring rain and I realized that my window was down those couple inches. I dont have a warranty on any electronic's so I'll just put up with it for now until all my bills run through and the dealer can pull forty bucks out of my butt. Does anyone know what causes the timing to be thrown off?

The auto up mechanism has to account for someones arm, hand, head, etc. being in the path of the window and it has to reverse the windows direction before injuring whatever is in its way. It sense this by pressure in some way and in my opinion that is what changes slightly over time and needs to be adjusted. You know both windows are operated each and every time you open the door, so they get a lot more use than in a regular car. If you have access to shop manuals, the procedure is pretty clear. I don't have access to mine right now, but I have seen the adjustment steps spelled out before on this site. Just do a search...

Anyone know how to adjust this properly?
I'd like to do it myself, my driver-side window is starting to do it. It only does it once in a while. I think I might try pushing up on the weather stripping and see if that does anything.
