When I open and close my drivers door, the window makes this annoying "click...click" sound. I know the window does not have a frame, but my passenger door does not do this. Does anyone else have this issue...

I have searched but only found reference to grease on the window and this is not the problem.

For those who ask, it was made in 02/03 - Track model.

 

You do know that when you open the door, the window opens like 1/2" and then when you close it again the window closes.

This is because the window hits the top of the door frame if it's rolled up all the way and closed, found that out when I had my windows tinted and I taped over the door switch.

 

I totally understand the fact that the window drops down. This unfortunately has nothing to do with the creaking. Also, you can stop the window from going down by just taking the screw out of door stop.
