You know the cover that slides over the navigation (or open area)? Well mine won't shut all the way. I thought that somehow it got off track..but it won't budge. I don't want to get too rough with it; so here I am...can anyone help me out?

Do you have the motorized door?

The motor is probably gone, mine is acting up for the 2nd time and I only have 6500 miles! Notice they dont have motorized doors anymore, Are you under warranty if so, take it in they will replace the motor and door?

 

I don't think its motorized...i think its just spring activated or some other type of non-automated mechanical device. I just don't want to take it to teh Stealership.

 

You can remove the panel and make sure nothing is caught or broken....

 

easy if you take of the dash and look behind the door and nook where the door slides or is connected to the inner area.

 

that is the most poorly designed interior piece. pure garbage.

 

yeah i might have to take it appart sometime next week.

and i agree...its a piece of crap. i'd much rather have the G35 setup; or have no cover at all for that matter.

i haven't looked yet; but i assume there is a "how to remove" for this area on this site?
