Default HELP! cars not going past 1500rpm

Ive been on vacation for 1 1/2 month and just got back today. I started up my car and noticed my Z isnt going past 1500rpm. The fuel would just cut when i try to past 1500 and would be like that when driving. I tried reseting the ECU and clean the MAF.

The best thing to do is this.

First check to make sure you have oil.

Then turn on the car and let it get to normal operating temps, let it warm up completely before revving. You can cause damage by revving when its not warmed up.

Once its warm and you rev it, and it doesn't rev past 1500 it could be a number of things. Check to see if your check engine light is on. If it isn't check to see if your air filter is clogged, check your MAF, check to see if you have gas in your car, these may sound dumb but its the norm.

You should get the ECU read to see any codes it is throwing out. AutoZone will do that for free. So if you are able to drive there safely, do it.

I just got home to the same issue, I was gone for a little over 2 weeks. I let the car idle for about 10 min and when I went to hit the gas a bit no power. I turned the car on and off a few times now it's fine, but the CEL is on. Im going to go back now and check everything out. I don't want to hear anything about exploding tranny's thanks.

Checked the basics, gas cap, maf sensor, fluids/oil all is ok. Im going to go by autozone and get a reading later. Did you ever fix your issue? What was the problem?

Just got it checked at autozone it's flashing a P2101 code. I'm checking around the website to see what it is.

Ended up being some issue with the throttle. I was away on vacation for a couple weeks and the car just sat in the car port (had some bad weather). Did the ecu reflash and the light is off car is running like a champ. I have to schedule an oil change with Nissan later this week so I'll have them take a look to make sure all is well.
