Exclamation Ahhhh Leak Discovered!

i was installing my new system today... and under the steering column where i ran the wires to the head unit i noticed a leaking yellow tinted oil/grease. i dont know what it is and im pretty sure it isnt normal. i searched but to no avail. any1 got any idea or clue? . it has no scent to it either. if it helps its an 03 base with 42k miles. no mods except the system. Thx

Is it actually leaking ??? Some under dash lubes for steering components/Brake,Clutch Pivot points etc is White Lithium Grease that turns Yellow with age and contaminates over a period of time. Also... White Lithium has no odor, where as, brake fluid does. Those would be the only two fluids under your dash and of course BF leakage would be on the firewall

Probably your brake master cylinder or clutch master cylinder is leaking, so the brake fluid is seeping through the hole in your firewall

it was just along the steering column. and yea it had no odor so i guess its harmless? Thx for the info guys i was scared for a minute lol
