Default TIRE REPAIR : Close Call ???

i just had my "07 350z couple months ago and came across of seeing a nail just about on the border of the tire wall.

i did heared about that it is risky to get a nail puncture repair on the tire wall.

i needed feedbacks or any suggestions of this getting it fixed or not.

Unless you granny drive that thing all the time I would get a new tire....IMO thats unsafe man....Tiresavings.com

A reputable shop wouldn't fix that - too risky.

Replace the tire. You wouldn't want an abrupt repair failure at 70mph.

i doubt anyone will patch that, but if they did, you would have a leaky patch that is annoying or the sidewall would start to bubble.

It is supposed to be a federal law to repair a tire on the sidewall, the tire shop would be liable. Good time to get some new wheels & tires for your Z, maybe 19's with 35 offsets, 245 in the front & 275's in the rear. Yes ditch the Potenza's

majority win and consider it done. will replace new rubber on it. and safety first!

By the way, I still have my OEM tires in practically brand new condition, 100 miles on them. PM me if you need the rear pair.

thanks for the offer ill let you know asap if my tires are covered for road hazzard warranty. i believe i paid for that plan whan i got my Z.
