Ext. temp guage stuck?

My external temp gauge says 65 and it's like 85 out. WTF? Has anyone had this issue before?

I have an 07 350z.

Mine has stuck like that about once a month at different temperatures. After I stop and drive it again it seems to start working again. Not sure what the deal is but hate to take it in for that.
