Default My headlights dont work!!!

When one of my HID headlights went out I figured it was the bulb, so i bought a new one (actually i went ahead and got 2 of the blue bulbs since i had to replace one). Put the bulbs in and the light that wasnt working still didnt work. I left it alone and about a week later it started working! Everything was good for about 2 days, then both of my headlights went out. The high beams still work, everything else is working.... anyone know whats going on???

i'd guess no since i've never heard of anyone buying blue hid bulbs...unless its different lum# but still i think hes just referring to "hid" look alikes.

Check your fuses, always first thing to do. also cheap blue bulbs can melt bulb harnesses.

Florida---Rain. I have had a couple cases were moisture has gotten in the Ballasts, they are solid state but none the less knocked out the lights. I (after opening them and seeing the moisture) dryed and resealed them and havent had trouble since. This is most apt to happen if you have had the Lens off and didnt get a good reseal....... for example for a head lite interior paint

Also---never install a Xenon with out first wiping it down with alcohol---DONT touch the glass with your fingers
