Another window problem
My drivers side window drops the tinyest bit on bumpy sections of road such that I get the most charming whistle from the gap. If I activate the switch to roll it up it goes all the way up like it's supposed to and will stay there for a few seconds then slips back down. It only moves a few millimeters. What do I need to do to fix it? I got no warranty and will be doing the work myself, so don't tell me to go to the stealership...
My Porsche does the same thing. I believe a plastic piece has become worn and stripped and not holding the window snug.
I'm willing to bet you can put your hands against the glass and slide it down from the all-the-way-up position because of it...
Why come it happen on a 2005? My problem is on a 1981

I've read a few other posts about this. It seems like the motors are normally the problem, not the regulators. Is it a cable system or gear drive that moves the window? If it's a cable it might be able to be tightened, if it's a gear it is worn and will need to be replaced.

That's what it FEELS like anyways w/ the Porsche. Not something loose, but rather worn out causing the slippage...
