Default Does anyone know what this problem is coming from?

hi everyone, the problem that I'm having with my car is my rear driver side suspension is making a clunking sound everytime when I hit an hard bump. I know there's a TSB about clicking rear suspension when the car stop and go, but my problem is when I'm going over bump, so I think is not the TSB. I just replace a brand new set of Toikco D spec shock and new spring, and the reason I replaced my suspension was I thought the suspsension was wearing out and it's make the clunking sound, but apprently it is not the spring and shock's problem. Does anyone know what might be the problem that I'm having. Thank You

I had rattling in my trunk area that drove me crazy and i just had to tighten the screw wing that holds down the spare/donut tire. It sounded like something more, something bad but that fixed it, good luck

shim the rear strut tower where the strut is bolted to the two studs. That's probably where the clunk noise is coming from when you hit a bump or uneven pavement. i had that noise back in 03.

If you have to ask that, do you really think you should be bothering with this yourself? I mean no disrespect, However I do see a lot of DIY'ers come thru the service lane in worse shape then where they started. And typically less money in their pockets. Moral of the story, just take is some where reputable and have them do a visual check.

Upper and lower control arm bolts are common to be loose and making noise (front). Take it to someone to look at and if the don't visually see anything, have them tighten the control arms.
