Question about error code P 2135 and warranty
I have a 2004 Enthusiast model with approx 41,000 miles. Over the past week and my OBD 2 shows that I have been throwing the P2135 Voltage Correlation TPS/ Pedal Position Sensor/ Switch A/B code. I believe, after searching that this has something to do with the throttle body. My check engine light, slip light and TCS light all come on and my car goes into "safe" or "limp" mode. No power, no RPM's over 1000.
I first tried removing my cold air intake and spraying throttle body cleaner directly into the throttle body in an attempt to clean any carbon out. I reset the code and in about a day it happened again.
Next, I tried the Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning procedure and the Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning procedure, reset the code and it happened again.
My question... I know that the basic warranty for the car is 36,000 miles, but isn't the engine and drivetrain also covered for something like 65,000 miles? Would this problem be covered under the 65,000 mile warranty or is it no longer covered under any warranty at all?
Any ideas and suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

the 60k warranty is kinda sketchy. It replaces the big parts, just not anything connected to them. Repairs parts that are considered unusuable or defective. The grey area doesn't seem very large untill your there and they are like "uhhhh, its this, this and this, we cover this, but not this." Your bill will be $250 anyways... lol Good luck with things.

Not all Nissan dealers are like how everyone says here. Some are legit and will take care of you. If you can't find one come visit So Cal. We'll take care of you. If it needs a throttle body then that is covered period.
