Default Fraying Cloth Seats

My cloth seats are fraying on the bottom cushion. It appears that this is from me getting in and out of the car. The Service Advisor at the dealership pointed it out to me this morning when I brought my Z in to get the window grease fixed. She said that a fix is being developed and a TSB written on the issue.

Does anyone out here have any further information? I do know of one other person having the same problem and they are having their cloth replaced today. I agreed to wait for the permanent fix.

Might try the forum search I know this issue has been raised before. Someone attached a picture of their seat and everything.

If I reacall correctly they had the seat covers replaced under warrenty.

Default Will it ever end

My seats are starting to fry also. Just hit 2700 miles (: My car spends more time in the shop than on the road.

1. Tire feathering
2. Grease streaks
3. Seats fry
4. Numerous rattles
5. Loud wipers

And the list goes on...

Exclamation Big problem in the making?

I was talking to a service advisor at a local dealer a couple weeks ago, and he said he's starting to see it on a lot of cars with cloth seats. There's no excuse for cars that are 3-6 months old starting to wear like that. Maybe selfish of me to say, but I'm glad I've got the leather seats and don't have to deal with that! Nissan should have done a little more work on the interior...
