Default Rattle in neutral

There is a rattle coming from the undercarriage that goes away when i apply the clutch but is present when in neutral. I also hear it at certain RPMS, especially in reverse. I know it's all harmonics but was wondering if you guys had any input.

Based on your description, my first guess would be flywheel chatter, especially if you have an aftermarket, lightened flywheel (which is common for light flywheels). If you can make it go away and come back by pushing in the clutch, and letting it out, while in neutral, that's my guess.

not that normal......i brought my Z to nissan for that same noise and they
replaced my 03 tranny with a brand new 07 one, a new flywheel, and new clutch

for free

with only 2 days left on my warranty

if you have warranty, its worth a shot!
