Default Rough idle, tubing

I did some research on rough idles with a knock every now and then.... one of the suggestions was check all tubing. The tube going into the motor by the battery (I'm new guys, not sure what this is) was actually loose. Is there an easy way to tighten these things? Or do I need a new clamp? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I really think this is whats causing the problem. Just by moving the tube up a little further I noticed a difference in my idle, but it is still not a healthy smooth.

Z's are known for rough idle. Irratic idle to the point where the car doesn't like to stay running, thats a problem. What you are noticing is probably normal, but if not, you need a new hose clamp if yours isn't tightening things down enough. Slide the hose back on the nozzle and clamp it back down. Also, take a picture of which hose your referencing to for more help.

Thanks for the help... I 'll try to take a pic later today. It's not really lose, but you can slide it up and down whatever it's connected to, opposed to the other end of it which is so tight it won't move whatsoever. If the rough idle is normal, that's fine... I bought the car used so every little thing like that I tend to notice. It's still under warranty though so I may take it in sometime anyway.
