Geez! I'm beginning to feel paranoid! There seems to have been three major problems identified with many of the Z's, i.e., "paint chipping problems", the "tire cupping/feathering problems", and the "stereo system problems." Each time I have gone out to my car in trepidation ..... to find at 6200 miles (including a 2200 mile vacation trip) I have NO chips, NO apparant tire problems, and as an older hard rock kinda guy, a bass problem that I could live with. No tranny probs either, since I chose an automatic because of the SoCal freeway driving. Maybe my car was built on Wednesday? Anyway, I keep knockin' on wood, and wish everyone with problems good luck!!
