ok i jacked up the in the garage and when the car is in gear with the clutch out the car will not rev fast but when you put in neutral or push in the clutch it revs fast anyone help me. i put the car on a scanner and there is no codes. the slip light is not on

 

If the car is not in gear the engine does not move transmission which does not move the drive shaft which does not move the rear end which does not turn the axles causing no drag. Much more drag when transferring power to all those components as opposed to the engine just turning by itself.

Maybe I am misreading---but if the wheels are off the ground, the car will go into a auto Slip Mode....It "thinks" something is amiss
