Default clunky clutch

whenever i push the clutch down at 1st gear..sometimes it makes a clunky noise. but just sometimes...and then when i shift it..it will make another clunky noise. this is only going from 1st to 2nd gear though. the change feels smooth though. i was wondering if anybody knows anything about it or it happens to them.. thanks

I seem to get very smooth shifts from 2nd on up. Would you guys recommend starting on second? I tried a couple of times and have had no problems. Just wondering wether it will do the car harm in the long run. What do you guys think?

Personally I wouldn't, not that it's bad/good cuz honestly I don't know....

From my experience, If I let my car "warm up" for a few minutes I don't get that clunking.....

Also, when I do get the clunking, It's usually the initial first-second gear shift (right after start up)..... After that, I can shift from first-second w/o any clunking......
