If you search around you'll find that people have complained about moldy smells coming from the AC.

Some people have used lysol sprayed into the vents with the ac on full blast to get it up into the ducts. Usually it kills the smell for a little while. Others have found out that turning off the ac for the last 5 minutes when you are driving the car so that the ac condensation evaporates before you turn the car off will help.

Search around in the forum and see what you can find.

i've heard of some a/c service where they will go into the system and spray a part with lysol-like product and it's guaranteed to rid your car of any moldy/musty smell. saw the brochure at a honda dealer while getting touch-up paint for a previous car.

Its most likely mold and mildew which thrive in hot and moist environments. So cool the car and drop the humidity. That should help.
