Default parts needed for wheel bearing replacment?

My passenger rear wheel bearing has taken a dump and i need to know every part needed to do a replacement with. I found this http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sh...ssan/350z.html third one down. "rear wheel module" it seems like it would have everything needed. But i just wanted to make sure there wasn't a little seal or something that has to be replaced too.

any thoughts

Thank You
Rob

Wow!! You must auto cross or something!! I think this is the first i've heard of a wheel bearing going. I've had cars with over 200,000 miles and never had a sealed wheel bearing go!

I hope this isn't gonna be an '03 thing!!

the front bearings are bolt on, the rear bearings will need to be pressed.

damn i had a feeling. I can't believe they don't sell full hubs for the rear. they only sell full front hubs. I'd rather spend the extra 100bucks to get new everything but i guess i'll have to settle for just a fresh bearing.

Replace the hub with the bearing. Future problems to come if you don't.

sorry this is off-topic. but, how do you diagnose if a wheel bearing has worn out or failed?

It'll make a sound that won't disappear when applying the brakes and/or you can jiggle the wheel when you lift the vehicle.

In my case, it made a sound that disappeared overnight, but when I lifted the rear, I could jiggle the passenger rear wheel, but my driver's rear was solid.

I also inspected my rotors, calipers, pads, and bushings. All of which were sound.

You can buy bolt in rear wheel bearing assemblies. I can get you one for $85 shipped thru my supplier worldpac. I was trying to copy and paste the pic but i cant. It bolts in for sure though.

One of my wheel bearings failed at c. 104,000 miles. Made a bad noise on the freeway.
