Default Issues with OEM Navigation System Please HELP!

The problem im experiencing is whether i am driving or parked my navigation ' the arror indicated " z" will spin in place, super annoying when I really need my navigation to get me from point A to point B. Has anyone had this issuse before? I was thinking i would find the gps antenna and disconnect it and reconnect it, but like i said it happens only sometimes not all the time. Help?
