It's not the pedal. I swapped it out and it still did the same thing.

what kind of voltage did you have at the pin?

what do you mean it did the same thing? you mean the light came back on with the same code?

12.XXv. It was doing the same thing, cutting fuel during acceleration.

Yeah this is the same problem I am having. Bad TPS sensor. Replaced whole throttle body, cleared code, car went fine, then after the 3rd start with new throttle body, boom car was right back into limp/failsafe mode. According to my Nissan Mechannic, it's either the grounds, the harness, or the Throttle body. He said it cant be the pedal. I dont see whay not?

I'm about certain now that it's the ECU. The water shorting it out would definatly explain why it would throw too much power to the TPS and IAT.

This is per batum exactly the SAME situation I am in.

Check engine Light, Limp mode. Clear the light, 3rd Start, limp mode. Replace throttle body, great, 3 starts later limp mode. This is like clock work. Then I notice that the positive battery terminal is too loose. Well, If the car makes 8volts or lower during start up then it automatically throws that code. Tightend it, cleared code, and 3 starts later back to limp mode.

My mechanic says grounds, harness, or may need to replace with brand new t.b. instead of the used one I had. I dunno but this **** is fuking pissing me off!!!!!!!

My computer came in today and I had a 2:00 appointment to get it reset at the dealer. It just so happened that thier system went down this morning and never came up. I left the car and hopefully it will be back up tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated if it does.

Yeap sounds like it could be a wiring issue. Had this same situation with a 05 pathfinder with the VQ40 motor and replaced the pedal sensor and had the code reappear a month later. Found out thru nissan engineer that the wiring harness needed to be replaced because of a shorted/open wire and was very common issue right now. After I replaced the engine harness all was well...

Wasn't the computer. The guy put the new computer in and reset it and it did the same to him. I hope I don't have to replace the harness.

The guy at the dealer told me it was rust on the tank and was going to charge 9 hours ($700ish) to replace it. I went ahead and picked up a tank and went to trailor the car home. It was bottoming out before we could get it on the ramps. We tried different angles and nothing worked. So I decided to drive it home. It worked perfect the whole way home, and to be honest, I wasn't taking it easy on it. So I guess I'll leave the tank in and see how it goes from now. If it starts messing up I'll always have the other tank to put in.

Did you ever get it fixed?

Tank rust. I've been taking the pump out every so often and cleaning the filter. I have the new tank, but haven't had time to put it in yet. It's been a bit sluggish lately even after cleaning the pump, so I'm going to switch tanks when I get the chance.
