Default headlight problem!!

so recently, both my hid's went out and i thought it was the bulb. but the problem was that they went out at the same time which is extremely odd. so i had them checked out and they couldnt figure it out. the bulbs were fine so i thought it was a fuse. i couldnt find the fuse for the headlight so i just gave up and figured id buy a whole new headlight assembly which was going to run me about 1200 dollars. the other morning before i went to work i figured id just try to turn them on and so i did and all of a sudden the passenger side headlight went on. then i turned it off and tried turning it back on and it wouldnt. And itll come on and off for the next couple days. a week later the passenger light would work like normal but the driver side didnt. then a week went by after that and both headlights came on and i did the same thing and tried again and only the passenger worked. now both will work at the same time only in the morning. does anyone know WTHHH is going on with my headlights?

i have an 06 base with stock HID.

Sounds like something got wet. After all this time either it is continously getting wet or the damage is done. you'll probably need to replace but to replace something because you can't find a fuse... your an idiot.

couldnt find the fuse for the headlight so i just gave up and figured id buy a whole new headlight assembly

Thumbs up

Robot number 5 is alive, and says: "Disband whole thingie, & check all wiring &
connections, then put back together. Save mucho dinero by NOT going to the
stealership!". A blow-dryer may come in handy, BTW, as well as contact cleaner. Finally, look for CAUSE--some broken/cracked rubber seal.
