Well one day my power windows just completely died on me. They never struggled or slowly got worse, just went from working good to dead. They open and close fine when i do it with the key from outside so its not worn/dirty motors. Fuses are all ok. I got power/ground to them. Im stumped. Can anyone help me?

 

could it be the master door switch on the driver's door?

 

Its the motor itself. If you take the assembly apart and use elec contact cleaner will clean the carbon build up. Or replacer the assembly for 180-220 per side

 

After playing around with it half the day i figured it out. My Z has lambo doors put in by the previous owner, rather have the normal doors. But when put up they tore the wire right by the plug. Problem Fixed!!

 

There was no way it was the motors, as the OP stated that the windows still went up and down fine by using the key outside. Did you even try reading before posting? Also good job solving your problem fatlace_ak21.
