Just got my 04 MT a few weeks ago, everything seems fine but i've only got two problems which don't seem too serious..

1-When shifting lets say from 2nd to 3rd the RPM drops suddenly (like the needle is loose or something!) what could this be from?

2-The fuel gauge on the left isn't working properly it's never full (max goes up to 3/4) also it could reach empty even if i just filled the car! (but the gauge in the middle that shows the distance remaining works 100% all the time) what could be the problem guys?

PS: Car is 100% stock.

 

i am just throwing this out there in case yours is a roadster- apparently if the gauges are exposed to direct sunlight they could start to act up.

so if this is only happening when the top is down and the sun is shining you may have the culprit.
